Your guide during the workshop: Quentin

I’m Quentin, your guide for these wine workshops in the Pays des Bons Vivants. Working at the tourist office in Saumur Val de Loire, a destination of excellence for wine and gastronomy, I’m lucky enough to be able to deepen my knowledge of the wines of the Loire Valley. WSET 3 certified (international certification in oenology), certified in intuitive and geo-sensorial tasting by the Revue du Vin de France and Franck Thomas Formation, I continue to learn regularly about all aspects of the wine world. I enjoy blind tastings and new experiences in wine tourism.
As a lover of gastronomy from all over the world, food and wine pairings are an inexhaustible source of inspiration and awaken the senses.
I’ve been lucky enough to visit many wine-growing regions in France, Europe and around the world. My primary aim is to awaken participants’ senses, to appeal to their sensory memory, to reconnect them with their sensations, and to provide knowledge and methodology to structure their thinking and analysis of wine. Join me for an enriching and convivial oenological journey in the heart of the Pays des Bons Vivants.
